Photos of the past 2 weeks

We visited Centennial Farms with some of our friends. It is right there at the Costa Mesa Fairgrounds, admission is free, you can pick up fresh produce with any dollar amount donation, it is as clean as a farm could be (no flies at all). We even got to see them milk a cow.

Gavin and the Los Angeles Temple

Miles is so eager to try to play with Gavin and do what he is doing... I can't wait until they can run around together!

This is an advertisement for the best double stroller in the world. It is made by Phil & Ted's. I got rid of all my other strollers because this can do it ALL! Just thought I'd share this with anyone of my friends that are in the market for a double stroller. Oh...one more thing...I don't recommend the Sit and Stand stroller (I've used one for the past 8 months).

Happy Easter!

We woke up Easter morning and Gavin found that the Easter Bunny had hid eggs all over the backyard. He would find one and open it and say, "It's just what I always wanted!!" (the Easter Bunny put litttle toys as well as candy in each one). At church Nathan sang in the choir and double quartet. And after church we headed over to Brandon and Karen's house to celebrate Easter AND Brandon's big 30th Birthday. Tahne and Carey and kids drove down from Moorpark and surprised us.

Easter Treats!

I just thought I'd share an idea for an Easter treat that is so easy to make. Gavin helped me make these today for my church class... it will give me an opportunity to explain the symbolism of the egg at Easter time. OK... here is how to do it... melt the chocolate, add the coconut flakes and shape them into nests, add candy eggs and put in refrigerator to harden. It was fast and easy and Gavin had fun too.

Hey Ladies...call me!!!

Best Friends

Gavin spent the day with one of his best buds Jack Parker. They play so well together doing all the boy things... play trucks, trains, dress up like pirates, and play firemen. Jack is Matthew Parker's son...his wife Katie had another boy, Max 6 weeks ago.

Weekend in Oceanside

This past weekend we enjoyed spending time with Grammy, Papa, and Grandma Kelley (Nathan's parents and grandma). Nathan's parents and brother Ryan have a condo close to the beach where we hung out. We had a quiet dinner without kids at Macaroni Grill and a wild lunch the next day with all the kids at Ruby's on the end of the pier. We saw the movie Ice Age: The Meltdown which was hillarious... the best part was listening to the kids laughing so hard. We also enjoyed Ryan and Leanne's hot tub and beating them in a backyard baseball game (I want to thank my team members...Gavin, Nathan, Randy, and Rob....we killed em!)
