Of course summer is no where near over, but I wanted to bring this blog up to date since it hasn't been working for me for the past couple months.

Gavin and his buddies visit the firestation

Miles and his buddy enjoy one of their last days at Learning Link

Gavin had 2 weeks of swimming lessons in June and now dives off the diving board at Nana and Grandpa's, does cannonballs off the side, does backflips under the water, and attempts any other tricks the other kids are doing at the pool. I've only had to jump in once with my clothes on to rescue him, as he was on his bodyboard in the middle of the pool and couldn't get back on.

Mommy is still celebrating another year in her 20s.
My birthday celebration at Cheesecake Factory (my favorite)

Gavin's cousin Luke sustained the same exact head injury on Grandpa's trampoline that he had when he was about Luke's age. Here, Grandpa is stitching him up and Gavin is in the background having flashbacks.

Here, Gavin is lying on a real bed of nails. We've decided to go with alternative therapy for Gavin's terrible 3s. Or maybe this is at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana.

Gavin is such a good helper... feeding Miles
and ordering take-out.

His cousin Max had a pirate party... Gavin was in heaven.

One of the highlights of the summer is always the girls trip to Vegas. We saw the new show "Love", shopped, ate, slept, and stayed up late talking. Can't wait 'til next year.

Miles and his friends making a mess at the Primary party

Gavin and friends in their element... the Adventure Mud Park in Huntington Beach (a boys dream park).

Gavin and his friend Tyler at the neighborhood pool.

After seeing his cousin Max, Gavin just had to do it. What a determined little guy. He stood up 3-4 times and now calls himself a surfer.

Miles looking good at the beach

Gavin thoroughly enjoyed his first Angels game.

Even though the word "happy" fell off his cake, he still was happy he has another year in his 20s.
