A day at the pool...

Bleached blonde and tanned... couldn't tell we went to the beach 4 times this week?

After that last stunt, Gav had all the ladies at the pool all over him

Monday nights at the Beach

One of the reasons we love the summer is meeting up at San Onofre every Monday night to surf, eat and hang out with friends by the fire.

Jack is Miles' best friend

You should have seen Miles' face when he came in from this one and I asked him if he surfed. He was so proud.

Gavin has been not wanting to surf with dad lately. He'd rather go out on his own with his "Goody Borg" (as Miles would say)... that's Boogie Board

Girls Gone Wild...

well... not exactly. But what a fun time we had together in Vegas. My sisters, cousins and aunts go to Vegas every July for my aunt Marsha's birthday. We always stay right on the strip and see a show... this year it was Thunder Down Under. Oh, no, I mean Spamalot. It was a pretty funny show, very entertaining if you like that humor. We stayed at the Bellagio, ate at good restaurants, relaxed in the spa, shopped and stayed up late. And it sadly had to come to an end. Here are a few photos.

Holiday Pay

We couldn't keep these guys from working the on the 4th of July holiday. These entrepreneurs took advantage of the steady stream of cars and people heading into Oceanside for the street fair and fireworks at the beach. We spent all day with Ryan and Leanne. Grammy and Papa were in town too!

"Fresh lemonade! If you give us a dollar we will give you 50c back!" is what they were yelling

Whale watching tour with Grammy and Papa. No whales were spotted but we saw tons of dolphins

We love the mud!

My boys just love Adventure Playground in Huntington Beach. On Thursday we went down there with some friends. It is such a boys heaven, with mud pits rafts, tire swings, forts and a mud slide.

In the building area they give you 3 nails and a hammer. If you want any more nails you have to earn them by bringing back 2 old nails or 2 pieces of trash.

Gavin and his friend Chance built this fort and were so proud.
