Boot Camp

For Gavin's b-day he said he wanted an army party. So that is what he got.
The recruits reported to the Harris Military training center at 1530 for their basic training and special missions.
Here are a few of the missions that were fulfilled...

This is what I have to look forward to...

I came across this photo from my pregnancy with Gavin. I thought it was cool the way Nathan pieced it together.

Fun times in Utah

No time to explain. But here are some photos.

My parents' lot they plan to build on. Ground breaking should begin next week. What a beautiful view... that is, if you prefer to look at mountains rather than the ocean. So sad they no longer live near us.

Gavin's B-day surprise

So Gav's b-day was yesterday and dad came home early from work and we headed to Disneyland because what he wanted for his Birthday (a particular Star War's gun) can only be purchased there (well, you could probably get it online I suppose but it was more fun to go there). So we sat down for dinner there and we told Gav we had one more surprise for him. We told him we were having a baby. Yes, I'm prego, due on Halloween. Gavin wants another brother he said.

Gav's best friend at school has the same birthday. They've been friends since they were in the same class last year. Crazy!

There is a great $5 sale going on at this site http://www.fooeyusa.com/ for kids clothes. My sister-in-law, Karen, introduced me to it. Thanks Karen.
Nothing new or exciting. We have had a couple fun weekends lately.
Last weekend our friends opened our eyes to a world we hadn't experienced before. Well, we had been to a rodeo or two when we were going to school up in Utah. But this was no Utah rodeo. It was the PBR Orange County style... Professional Bullriding with a rock band, fireworks, and fire. It was sweet! I sat right next to a woman who owned a team of bulls, she was cheering for them, and then our friends knew all the cowboys (they following it every week on t.v.). We had such a great time.

I forgot my camera so this is from my phone.

Next time we'll have the western wear.

This next one was at a car show. The boys were in heaven. Gavin was checking out all the engines.

This little 8 year old boys races this go-cart. Our boys were in awe at his uniform and trophies.
