Before & Afters

100% synthetic grass... oh yeah... no mowing for the hubby and there is no way I can kill it.

What would you do with 24 hours at home without kids??? That was my dilemma last Friday. Nathan took both boys to Joshua Tree to camp with some guys in our ward and I was left all alone. Poor me!
Ya right!!!! I was in heaven. Ok... I'm not saying that it is heavenly without a husband or kids, I'm just saying that that opportunity doesn't come often that I'm home all alone for that long. What would you do, you mothers of young children? Well this is how I spent my 24 hours. I won't bore you with all the details but let's just say there was a little take-out, tivoed Oprah, swimming, biking to the beach, online scrap booking, shopping at favorite stores, mani/pedi and SLEEP (I went to bed at 3am the night before because I worked). When Nate got back he told me I looked refreshed. Thanks to a wonderful husband and father.

These guys are hot, huh?

Well, I think they're hot. Maybe because I've been listening to them for the past year. Nate and I got to see them this week at the House of Blues and they were so entertaining!


Yeah, the lead singer plays a banjo and rocks out. All 3 are so talented, playing multiple instruments throughout the set.

I discovered them last year when Katie Parker and I went to New York for a girls trip and we saw a taping of the Conan O'Brien Show and these guys were the featured band. I went home and downloaded a bunch of their songs and they've grown on me.

Just thought I'd post something you might not know about me... I love the banjo!
